Laleh and Amin are already married, but didn’t like their wedding photos (from 6 years ago!). So they decided to redo them! We met at my favorite beach in Carlsbad and we were met with some gorgeous light.

About a year ago, our 1 year old dog was hit and killed by a car. It was pretty tragic for us all, especially my son. We weren’t sure if we’d ever get a dog again, but when we met Sammie, we knew she was the one for us. She was rescued by some kind souls from a high kill shelter. We adopted her, and it’s true love! She fits in so perfectly with our family, and she came potty trained! She even lets the kids carry her around everywhere.

This little cutie is the new baby of Hilary and Stephen whose wedding I photographed. I love love love being able to watch the next phase in their lives. There is truly nothing sweeter than a new baby. Congratulations!

Leslie + David | San Clemente Wedding

Leslie and David picked the most famous wedding date of the year, 11.11.11. They planned this beautiful, intimate wedding at the Garden Cottage at the Green Bed & Breakfast in San Clemente. The threat of rain loomed, but the day ended up with absolutely perfect weather, I was so thrilled for them! It all really turned out so perfectly, and the best part was watching the love that Leslie and David have for each other. They were absolutely radiating it!

Liz + Eric | Palm Springs Wedding

It was the most beautiful day in Palm Springs for Liz and Eric’s wedding. It started off a little warm, but cooled off to make it just right. Their friends graciously offered to host the wedding in their amazing home. I love home weddings, they always feel so intimate and personal.

I even busted out my little photo station for some fun pictures during the reception. Yay!

Liz and Eric, congratulations on your marriage, I wish you lots of love and happiness!

Laura + Kosta | The Ultimate Skybox Wedding

I don’t even know where to begin… Laura and I have been friends for 6 years, and no one could ask for a better friend than her. So I am so thrilled to see her end up where she is now. She was about to move away from San Diego (quit her job, gave notice on her apartment, etc.) when she met Kosta. I really have to admire how brave she was, because she met him and quickly changed her plan to move. A total leap of faith, and it paid off. Since meeting Kosta, she has created a successful photography business, and he opened Lisko Deli and they have created a wonderful life together in San Diego. I’m so glad her “moving away” plan failed!

They had been planning a church wedding, but due to health reason’s, Kosta’s mom was unable to travel from Australia. So they adjusted the plan and greeted their guests as they arrived at The Ultimate Skybox at Diamond View Tower (which by the way is a really cool venue!). Then they gathered everyone gathered around to watch their touching ceremony that Bethel officiated. Right after that the celebrating continued. The amazing food was provide by Terra Catering, Joes on the Noes had a coffee bar and their truly yummy cake was by Sweet Cheeks. Laura and Kosta have so many friends in the wedding and food business, so all the vendors were friends which made it so perfect. Kiyoko from Cherry Blossom Floral Design created truly incredible florals and Mike Farmer was their DJ. And lastly, a huge thanks to Amanda from Creative Affairs, she kept the evening running so smooth.

So to sum it all up… It was a happy day for all as we celebrated our friends Laura and Kosta!
