Amber and Scooter’s wedding was an amazing blend of really great friends and lots of family.  There was so much laughter and craziness (in a good way), and love, it made the day perfect.  They have two children together, so this family is already perfect and strong.  The wedding was an opportunity to renew their vows in front of everyone they love.  Paradise Gardens was so beautiful and it was such a pleasure hanging out with this group.  Congratulations to you both!

They saw each other before the ceremony so we had a chance to get almost all of the photos out of the way, leaving lots of time to enjoy their party after the ceremony:

My beautiful friend Alisha is about to have her second baby, and I got to sneak in a few pictures of her after her baby shower.  I’m so lucky to have the best group of girlfriends, so it’s extra special for me to be a part of all the milestones in their lives.  Here are some photos of Alisha and her little girl Taytum.

What a gorgeous day!  Mai and Sean had amazing weather, great attitudes and wonderful family and friends around them.  It does not get any better than that.  I love that all my clients are so kind and just downright cool people, it makes me happy! The ceremony was at the Congregational Church of La Jolla and the reception was held at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine.  We had a perfect day and Mai and Sean make a great couple!  And a special thanks to Sam and Eri for the referral.  Congratulations to you both, and here are some photos!00111

Denise and Peter had a wedding unlike any other I’ve been to.  They saw each other first for a few portraits, then joined their guests for cocktails, and finally they had their ceremony.  The Martin Johnson House in La Jolla has a perfect view. It was such a beautiful day, and everyone was relaxed and happy.  After the ceremony, they took a few minutes alone, and then joined their guests for an amazing dinner during sunset.  The food was super yummy, so I have to give a shout out to Giuseppe Catering. There were very few formalities to the evening.  Just great food, wine, live music and an incredible view.  The night ended with the cake cutting and a couple of toasts.  Denise and her mom created such personal and beautiful details for the wedding, and Peter hung the lights, I was very impressed!  Congratulations to you both, it was a great night and I’m glad I was a part of it!

I just loved Kate and Mike’s wedding.  It was sweet and simple and totally perfect for them.  Since they love nature and animals, The Wild Animal Park was an obvious choice.  A big thanks to Candace, the coordinator from the park, for keeping everything easy! The weather was amazing, the day was stress-free and totally smooth, and Mike’s boutonniere got eaten by an animal (more on that later)!  Congratulations, it was a true pleasure working with you both and meeting your wonderful families!

The ladies who were presenting the animals asked Mike and Kate if they’d like to have these little animals (I forgot what they are called, if you know, leave a comment below!) on their shoulders. So the animals are all settled when this little guy decides he needs a snack.  I was laughing so hard, but I did remember to take photos!052105980710
