When did Robi-berto shave his cabeza? 🙂
The kids are beautiful Chelsea. Seriously adorable!

Nikki and Matt had such an amazing wedding at The Dana.  Everything was so beautiful and most importantly, Nikki and Matt looked so happy.  The weather was a tad steamy, but that didn’t stop the dancing at all.  I’m so jealous that Nikki and Matt are in Australia right now.  But if they decide to take a break from the honeymoon to check the blog, here are some pictures!

There was a butterfly release as they walked back down the aisle, and this butterfly just loved Nikki’s bouquet:

I didn’t mean to take this picture, but I love it.  Both of their parents are dancing on the sides.

I love the new trend of bobble head cake toppers. Too cute!

I’ve photographed this family a bunch of times, and it’s been so great to be a part of the expansion!  I was talking with Leslie (the mom) about expectations for a family picture.  I think we are often programmed to think that the “perfect” family photo is one where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling.  But I don’t know about you, but my family sure isn’t that way.  We laugh and joke and play.  So for me, the perfect family photo is one that captures us doing that.  So I want everyone to consider how their family is together and what makes the photo perfect for them.  If you have young children, please know that the chances of everyone looking at the camera with a natural smile, are slim to none.  So if we all throw out this expectation, the whole process will be much easier.

I just love how these photos turned out, they really capture the love and fun in their family.

I’ve had a lot of weddings at the Wild Animal Park recently.  I love it, there are so many beautiful photo spots.  And I get to come face to face with cheatahs, warthogs, snakes, alligators, etc.  They bring out animals during the cocktail hour for all the guests to see.  So if you want to pet a warthog on your wedding day, this is the spot for you!  Amber and Robbie had such an amazing day.  The weather was awesome and they got really great photographers 🙂  But in all seriousness, I just love what I do and it’s always so great to get to spend my day with happy couples and their families and friends (and a cheetah!).  Congratulations, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
