Michael and Jennifer had a wedding full of personal touches.  They incorporated their family, their art and their friends and it made for an amazing wedding.  The ceremony was at the Japanese Friendship Gardens in Balboa Park, and the reception was at The Museum of the Living Artist.  I loved that their kids were so included, and throughout the entire day, Michael and Jennifer never stopped being parents.  It helps that they are really cute and great kids!  Congratulations, thanks for letting me be a part of it all!

I was really excited to try the food and the cake.  Michael is a vegan and the food was delicious!

I met Denise and Matt for an early morning session at Balboa Park.  They live in Arizona, so we did it before their long drive home.  Balboa Park is perfect in the morning, nice and quiet.  We got some great pictures and it’s always nice for me to get to know each couple a bit before their wedding.  Their wedding next year will be amazing because they are such a great couple.  Here are some pictures!

This is what my son insisted on wearing out on the town.  I love it!  We went Halloween costume shopping earlier in the day and he really wanted to be a fairy, with a wand.  But somehow he switched to Spider-Man (the rain boots are just an accessory).

It was such a beautiful fall day for Anne and Dan’s wedding.  I love Vista Valley Country Club, it has this beautiful spot to have your ceremony.  Anne’s dress is so cute, I love it.  It’s nice to see such wonderful people get married.  Anne’s maid of honor said in her speech that everyone need an Anne in their lives, and I think it’s true!  Congratulations!

Gio called me the week before his wedding in need of a photographer. Luckily I was available. You never know what to expect when you never meet a couple in person before the wedding, but Monica and Gio were so easy to work with. Everyone was relaxed and fun and Geo is totally into photography, I could tell he had some lens envy! The Ebell Club in Long Beach was a really cool spot for a wedding. I love it when there’s no stress on a wedding day, it makes everything run so smoothly. Congratulations Gio and Monica!

The ring boys were so cute!
