Only a month left to go and Molly looks fabulous. She didn’t do pregnancy photos with her first baby so she really wanted them this time. Pregnancy photos really capture how beautiful your body looks. You can do them fully clothed, partially clothed, whatever fits your comfort level. It’s just a fun memory of the crazy science experiment, known as pregnancy. Congratulations Molly and I can’t wait to do pictures of your new little guy!
After 8 years together, Kristin and Trevor got married at The Dana on Mission Bay. I do believe they are the nicest people ever. We felt so welcomed and appreciated and everyone was really friendly and great. I loved watching the two of them together, it just flows so smoothly. You can tell Trevor just adores Kristin, well, I think it’s mutual! We walked away from their wedding wishing all weddings could be just like theirs. Congratulations!
This is so cute of Kristin’s mom watching her get ready:
Seriously, this girl could not take a bad picture. Ever.

I’m really looking forward to Jen and Chad’s wedding. They are so nice and the wedding with be at Jen’s family home. I love home weddings, they have such an intimate, personal feel. We kept rescheduling because of the crazy beach weather, but we ended up with an amazing day!
I off on a camping trip with my family! We’re headed to Big Sur. We’ll see how much fun sleeping on the ground is when you’re 6 months pregnant! I’ll let you know… We’ll be back Sept. 1, so I’ll be returning all calls and emails then. I do have my new iPhone handy in case anyone urgently needs to reach me (phone + email).
It was such an honor to photograph my cousin Maura’s wedding at the Kona Kai Resort. Her and Aric planned such a thought filled event. Their ceremony was so touching and full of emotion and the reception was filled with lots of personal touches. And they got to show off their amazing country dancing skills! Her are some pictures! And if you need to see more, here’s the **SLIDESHOW**
Maura looks amazingly beautiful here:

Hi Chelsea,
I’ve always been a big fan of your photography (I’m the assistant that works with Steph, Gabby, and Lauren, Laura). I have one question. On the very last image… how do you get the couple to be be bright (naturally) with the lights still showing, and not making the flash so obvious? I would love to have the skills to take such great night time photographs.
Beautiful work and I hope to have the chance and work with you someday.
Thanks!
