Alicia and I hit it of the instant we met. So it was so great to finally meet Brandon. They’ve been together since high school, for 7 years. They are really cute and I can’t wait to meet their little boy, I’ll bet he’s just plain old squeezable!
I drove to Crest a couple of days before Christmas to photograph the Johnson Family. What a great family, everyone was so nice and all the kids were easy to work with. It was a pleasure!
And this is where you could find all the kids when they weren’t being photographed!

What a great year it’s been. I have a happy family, a successful business, great friends, a cute and charming little boy and an annoying cat (but we still love him!). This Christmas has been so fun with our son Gabriel. He’s almost 2 1/2 and he’s been so sweet and gracious. When he opens a present he says things like, “wow, it’s beautiful, thank you”. I think my heart might of burst at some point. I hope everyone is enjoying their families and creating lots of great memories.
Here’s my holiday card. I kept trying to get Gabriel to pose for a nice portrait. I bribed him with cookies and tried everying. But he’s too quick! So we ended up playing peek-a-boo:
We were hoping for pictures of two sisters snuggling together in matching holiday outfits in a beautiful setting. We ended up with darling little Allie posing and smiling, and 2 year old Lauren defiantly refusing everything. We tried snacks, feeding the ducks, promises of cookies and treats! But we failed. I think after 1 1/2 hours, she finally decided to participate (a little) and by then Allie was over it. But we still got amazing pictures (just not together!). Aren’t these girls so beautiful?
