Please forgive me for posting a gazillion photos, but I got a little carried away.  I have truly loved getting to know Jewel and Ryan.  They have this infectious joy that surrounds them, and you just can’t help but want to be their friend.  Their wedding was full of tears and laughter and tons of silliness, just like I knew it would be.  Wilson Creek in Temecula was totally gorgeous and the perfect spot for their wedding.  I’m going to be short on words because my hubby and I have a date tonight, but I think the photos totally capture the spirit of their wedding (so lots of my boring words are not necessary)!

Jen and Shane were married at the beautiful Estancia La Jolla.  It’s such a beautiful spot with tons of cool little nooks and crannies for photos.  I loved that their ceremony was officiated by their good friend Brian, it really made it meaningful and personal.  The gorgeous florals are by Organic Elements, the cake is from Twigs Bakery, and Andy from Disc Go Round kept the dance floor packed.  It’s so great working with vendors who just make life easy.  And of course, the whole day ran extra super smoothly thanks to Aubrey J., their coordinator.

I really want to thank Jen and Shane for including us in their wedding day.  It’s always an honor to be hired to document someone’s wedding day, and I really appreciate their trust.  I wish you both tons of happiness!

I photographed Moriah and David’s wedding at The Dana in 2009 and I was so excited to hear about their pregnancy.  Moriah had a specific idea in mind for the photos.  She wanted a field and old barn and a windmill.  I don’t know of too many places like that, so we scoured the internet.  I found a cool photo of a barn in San Marcos, so Moriah emailed the photographer and found the location.  It’s on a private property, so we just decided to show up and ask permission.  And off course, the owners weren’t home.  A little trespassing doesn’t really hurt anyone, does it?

It was so perfect!  A big field, cows, the barn was old and crumbling, a beat up tractor… So fun!  I can’t wait to meet this little guy!

Moriah is so beautiful!

This little one has grown so much since our last session.  We wandered around the San Diego Botanic Garden until Kaia got tired.  It’s so beautiful there and there are tons of spots for photos.  I can’t wait until our next session.  I love the first year of a baby’s life, the changes are so rapid and incredible (which is why photos are so important!).

Marna and Jason have this wonderful connection that really showed during their wedding at The San Diego Safari Park.  They planned this destination wedding from Arizona, and it all turned out perfectly. The flowers are by Artistic Florals, and Mike Farmer was their fabulous DJ.

The Safari Park is such an interesting place to get married.  I love that the money you spend goes towards animal conservation.  The animals they bring in during the reception really add a unique experience.  And, there are a million beautiful spots for photos!

Marna and Jason:  Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding.  I really loved working with you all and meeting your friends and families.  Please enjoy your photos!

Isn’t Marna’s hairstyle so beautiful and interesting?

They saw each other before the ceremony, it was really sweet:
