Little Harper was born on a Thursday, and her daddy was leaving for Afghanistan the next Tuesday.   So we rushed to get the photos done before he left.  She’s just 4 days old in these photos.  Luckily, Harper cooperated and came out in time!  I can’t help but get teary when I think about this wonderful family.  The strength military families have is amazing.   Pat, the dad, was so wonderful with Harper.  He is such a natural with his little girl.  I’m so happy I was able to capture a few moments for them before he left.  And I can’t wait until we do our next session in May when he gets back.

  • Chelsea, these are my favorite! I love them!

Mike and Rae hired me 2 weeks before their wedding.  They are both in the military, and Rae actually got off the ship the day before her wedding.  Crazy!  But it all came together for a beautiful day at the Wild Animal Park.  When Mike and Rae are together, it is so obvious that they are totally in love and just meant to be together.  They totally fit perfectly together.  The day ran super smoothly thanks to my girl Keely at the Wild Animal Park, Reverend Powers, and Mick from Elite British DJ.  The cake is by The French Gourmet and the flowers are from Flower Hill Flowers.

Two things really stand out to me about Beverly and Mike.  One, they are so truly in love.  They only treat each other with kindness and respect.  It’s so nice to see a couple that is just meant to be.  It seems so easy with them.  And two, they are THE nicest people ever.  And they also have really nice and funny friends 🙂

The day started out overcast and foggy, and ended up all blue and sunny.  The ceremony was so touching and emotional, and it was like we were all spying on a private moment between Beverly and Mike.  I know I also say this, but I really do have the best clients in the whole world.

The ceremony and reception were at the  Admiral Kidd Club, and Reverend Christopher did an amazing job.  I loved all the bright colors against the foggy sky.

Congratulations Beverly and Mike!  Thank you so much for having us there!

I love this photo.  It’s right after Beverly’s dad handed her off to Mike:

I love, love, love, when I get to see the babies of my wedding clients.  It’s so fun watching the progression of their family.  Meet Monica and Gio’s sweet little twins, Olivia and Dominic.  I can tell they are amazing parents, full of laughter and working together.  Those are some lucky babies!

These two little ones just make me smile with their huge eyes and cute little faces.  I just want to squeeze them!

Sweet little Mckenna didn’t like me that much.  I tried all my baby whispering skills, and she still didn’t like me.  But that’s okay!  She did like her mom and dad and she LOVED being held.  So we worked around it all, and ended up with some super cute pictures.  Here’s Mckenna at 6 months!
