I’m in love with this engagement session plus family session. Nicki and Eric are not only blessed in the genetic beauty department, but also the nicest people. It was a pleasure meeting them and Eric’s kids. We were blessed with the most beautiful beach day. I can’t wait for the wedding later this month!
I don’t know where time goes, but I can barely catch my breath. I’m reminding myself how incredible lucky I am to live in an amazing place, have my own successful business, have a family that brings me tons of joy, and an extended family that gives me a ton of support. We have the best winter garden this year. We’re growing kale, collard greens, a bunch of different types of lettuce, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, arugula, chard. Everything tastes super yummy and we are all eating more greens!
We babysat our niece Sofia the other day. She and Maya are best little buddies!

I went to the beach yesterday with Gabriel and his friend Gage and Gage’s mom. It was a super low tide and the boys had so much fun. These pictures show me what the joy of childhood is all about. A winter day at the beach, stripped down to your undies and running, jumping and splashing. Does life get any better?

I’d been watching the weather predictions all week, and it called for lots of rain on Kristen and Greg’s wedding day at The Wild Animal Park. And it did rain…a lot. I think I was more worried about the rain than they were! Everyone had the best attitudes, and the rain didn’t affect their awesome wedding. It stopped for a little while, and we managed to do some pictures outside. The ceremony was moved indoors, and we worked with it. I loved that Kristen and Greg’s grandfathers were the officiants. And I love that their was so much laughter, fun, dancing, a very muddy wedding dress, friends singing, hilarious dance moves, animals eating veils (see pic below)!
It was such a pleasure being a part of your touching and fun wedding. Enjoy your photos!

I can’t believe my little girl is 2. She’s so full of spunk and laughter and wonder… I love being a part of her life.
Here’s our annual balloon photo session. Each year my kids get a little photo session with balloons. Since Maya is two, she get’s 2 balloons. But, she refused to touch the balloons or have them anywhere near her. So we improvised!
