We’ll be out of the office until January 21st.  We go visit my husbands family every year in Guatemala.  This year I’m toting two kids, wish me luck!  I won’t have phone or email access, so I’ll respond to all messages when I return.  Here are a few photos from Guatemala:

These are from two years ago:

And last year.  Gabriel with his cousin Sofia.  He told me that he just loves her so much and he’s going to hug her for a really long time:

    Have fun Chelsea!
I just found out we’re going to Costa Rica next month! woot woot!

I was so lucky to be a part of Laurie and Paul’s wedding.  They have a very special relationship, and it shows.  They had a beautiful Mass followed by a nice lunch with their families at the Hunter Steakhouse.  Everyone deserves love and companionship no matter what age you are.  Congratulations Laurie and Paul!

1/8/09  I unfortunately just found out that Paul passed away.  It really makes me appreciate the importance of family and love.  Paul and Lauri had only about a month and a half of marriage together.  I realized that I must appreciate each and every day with my loved ones.  Rest in peace Paul.

    Wow Chelsea,
Yet again I am amazed how moving your profession can be. You are able to document and capture Love and Loved ones for these families to treasure. What a blessing your job can be and you do it so well. My thoughts go out to Lauri and Paul’s family.

What an amazing year 2008 has been.  I’ve had a happy little family, the greatest clients ever and I’m continually reminded how great it is to have my own business.  Not many people get to do what they love and have a flexible schedule.  It’s been a year of really hard work, lots of fun, and lots of amazing moments.  I want to thank my family for their support and my clients for being so fabulous and trusting me to capture one important day of their lives!  Here’s to another great year (I’m raising my imaginary glass of champagne)!

Speaking of my fabulous family, here are some pictures of my nephew Ellis.  He just keeps getting cuter and I fortunately get to see him all the time.  My sister came by today for a quick little photos session.  He’s 3 1/2 months old and getting so cubby and cute.  He did pee all over my bed, but his cute little grin made it worth it.   Nothing like starting the new year with a fresh smiley baby face:

Thank you, Chelsea for another beautiful little group of photos of our beautiful little grandson. We will be counting on you to keep us up to date for years to come, you know! Actually, after seeing these I’m just going to have to make it south again real soon. He’s growing so fast. And I miss him so much! And his parents, of course!

My sweet, feisty little girl turns one today.  I have no idea where the time went…  All I know is that I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful family…  They amaze me every day.
